Ugh moving is the worst, good luck. Congrats on the new gig if I haven’t said that already.

Luckily, the company is moving me, all I have to do is wait for them to load my stuff up and drive down. I moved myself back from Texas and it sucked.
Thanks, I’m pretty excited to be moving on with my life.

Oh killer! Yea my last move was the last one I’ll do without movers.

I moved from corpus to San Antonio and paid people to move me, I hate moving myself.

Man, that Savannah area tract housing looks bleak.

Congrats again, best of luck on this new chapter in your life.

I too hate moving. I told my wife the next time we move we’re leaving everything in the house. Packing up shit is the worst. And you always realize how much stuff you have that you just don’t need.

Thanks man!

What are you doing now?
![]() 03/07/2017 at 09:35 |

Be a production engineer for a private chemical company, basically its their version of a process engineer.

The way my phone displays the webpage makes your post look of a completely different sort

Ha, that’s pretty good.

Darn. I was hoping you’d be closer to the Tennessee side.

Ah, that’s right. Sounds very cool. Or hot, depending on if it’s exothermic or not....

Find out soon enough, I know I have to wear fire retardant clothes, and they run the process hot to force the reaction to be a first order reaction, so I’m pretty sure it’ll be hot.

At some point we should do a southern oppo meet. Also, the M3 needs to hit up some mountain roads soon.

Endothermic......TO EXOTHERMIC! BWAHAHAHAHAHAH

I think TYS and I talked about setting one up but can’t find the initial post. I’ll give it a search. I think we talked about Nashville(because of how central it is and we both know the area) and going to Lynchburg(Jack Daniels) or Arington( Kiks Brooks Winery)or both.
Edit: Found it easier then I thought. I’ll see what can be done. Lane Motor Museum, Lynchburg, and Jack Daniels. May make it a weekend event.

Well moving sucks, but not being unemployed anymore must be a really nice feeling. Hopefully this company will be good to work for. I am sure better than the fracking job I suppose. Hopefully better people too. Being a company you’ll be indoors now? How do you think that’ll compare to getting to be outside all the time?

Unemployment is far worse than moving. It feels so good to be employed again. Like I’m it even sure I can describe it.
Interestingly, I have to wear the same type of clothes to work as I did when I was a fracker. The plant is basically inside, but there is no climate control, so I might as well be outside. I think it’s going to be a much better place to work though.

I believe that wholeheartedly.
Is it like
mixed with
?
Hmm, weird. If you don’t mind me asking, what will you be doing?
![]() 03/07/2017 at 17:48 |

Production engineer, I guess since a lot of the processes are hot you have to wear fire retardant clothes, and steel toes and a hard hat cause reasons.

Hmm, ok. Must be OSHA ... Damn them trying to make work safe
